A Brief History
This mission was existing already from 1892. It was from here that the Pastoral ministries were carried out to places like Ravathanallur, Ongur, Palliagram etc. Only from 1911 it was made into a separate Parish and the first Parish Priest was Rev. Fr. Sobillet. The present Church was built by Fr. Charles Kumar and it was blessed on 02nd February 1996, by Most Rev. Dr. Aruldas James. The Annual Parish Feast is celebrated on 2nd February.
