| A Brief History |
 On 20th December 1986 Chennai-Porur parish was bifrucated from St. Thomas Mount. Hence Ramapuram and Manapakkam became the sub stations of Porur. In June 1993, Ramapuram was handed over to the professors of Sacred Heart Seminary for Pastoral care. In 1995, Fr. B. K. Francis Xavier the then Parish Priest of Ramapuram purchased a land at Manapakkam for the construction of the church. On 3rd May 1997, St. Antony’s Church was blessed by Most. Rev. Dr. Aruldas James. On 10th May 2009, Manapakkam, St. Antony’s Church was erected as an independent parish with Fr. Immanuel Raj as the first Parish Priest.
