A Brief History |
 Vinnarasi Alayam was one of the sub stations of Melrosapuram. As the population in this area began to grow in larger proportions the Parish Priest of Melrosapuram, Fr. P. George built a Church and a Presbytery at Maraimalai Nagar and began to reside at Maraimalainagar and looked after the Parish of Melrosapuram. Eventually in 1993 Maraimalainagar was made into a separate Parish. The Parish Annual Feast is celebrated on 15th August. |
