St. Joseph’s Church was bifurcated in the year 2001 from Ongur. The Parish Church was blessed on 11th January 1989 by Most Rev. Dr. Casimir Gnanadickam the Archbishop of Madras-Mylapore. Rev. Fr. Victor MSFS was the first Parish Priest.
